Clinical trials are research studies designed to answer scientific questions and find better ways to treat or prevent diseases. Understanding what they are can help you decide if a clinical trial might be an option for you. Or maybe you have a friend or family member with cancer and wonder if a clinical trial is proper for them.

Data Science Research at MedBiosys Bangalore focuses on large-scale data management, data mining, and data analysis using technologies from database management systems (DBMS), Statistical Machine Learning (SML), and Information Visualization. Such research in a Big Data era is called Data Science, which is a profession, a research plan, and a sport! Data Science research aims to build systems and algorithms to extract knowledge, find patterns, and generate insights and predictions from diverse data for various applications and visualization.

 

MedBiosys Bioinformatics Lab: Bioinformatics aims to study biological data using computational techniques. The key subgoals in bioinformatics are (i) enabling efficient access to bioinformatics data, (ii) analysis and interpretation of biological data. The bioinformatics team looks after the contract projects and training in the field and serves as the consulting team for Bioinformatics and Chemoinformatics and Drug Discovery projects across the globe.
